night, les bassacs (oil on linen, 40cm x 40cm)

This is a painting made in the studio from a drawing and a photograph taken earlier in the year.  Interesting what low artificial light does to colour.

    I like all the colours you have put in to this picture,just because there is little light there are a surprising variety of colours.love it.Syls

    Thanks for the comment - the colours are out of my head, really. It was difficult to see what was actually there!
